Film funds and film finance funds operate differently, though both serve to raise capital for movie projects. Film funds
offer a structured approach that pools money from multiple investors under one umbrella to back several films at once, simplifying the financing process. Film financing funds by contrast, is the broader process of raising and structuring money from various sources—including private investment, loans, pre-sales, tax incentives, and equity—to develop, produce, and release a specific film.
Film Funds Department
GOEIG is establishing a Film Funds Department to package financing and structure revenue-share models for A-list, distributor-attached film and television series. The department is working with a client partnered with a major independent studio, developing structured investment vehicles for projects with A-list actors, directors, and distribution already secured. GOEIG is continually reviewing scripts and decks and actively meeting with investors, conglomerates, producers, and entertainment attorneys to build strategic partnerships across genres and titles.
